MEET DR. ANNE
Dr. Anne Aspler is an emergency physician, assistant professor at the University of Toronto, and mother of two daughters. She is also a survivor of childhood family violence and sexual assault—experiences that shaped her mission to help others heal, rebuild, and thrive.
Over the past two decades, Dr. Anne has trained with the WHO and Harvard University, served as a humanitarian in more than thirty countries. Her commentary has been featured in The Huffington Post, The Globe and Mail, and her research has appeared in leading journals including the British Medical Journal, Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine, and Canadian Journal of Public Health.
Today, Dr. Anne focuses on Lifestyle and Preventive Medicine, Brain Health, and Women’s Wellness. A dynamic communicator and emerging expert in the science of resilience, she helps high-achieving professionals—especially women—restore energy, clarity, and purpose through evidence-based strategies for brain health and sustainable well-being.
Her mission is to empower others to move beyond survival, reclaim their voice, and live with vitality and meaning. Through her keynote talks, workshops, and growing Lifestyle Medicine practice, she blends science, empathy, and lived experience to inspire real, lasting change.
Beyond her speaking career and medicine, Dr. Anne also shares her voice through advocacy with the organization End Violence Everywhere and through music—her album My Sisters with Me dedicated to survivors of violence in her family, with proceeds supporting the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic.
